Who is NatRoad?

NatRoad, the National Road Transport Operators Association, was formed in 1994 when the Long Distance Road Transport Association and the National Transport Federation decided to combine their respective strengths. From this partnership, NatRoad has developed into Australia's premier Association for long distance and regionally based trucking businesses.

In 2008, NatRoad amalgamated with the Australian Road Train Association to create NatRoad Incorporating the Australian Road Train Association - Australia's largest trucking association, representing all long distance and regionally-based operators.

NatRoad is a not-for-profit Association overseen by a Board of Directors who all run trucking businesses. You can be sure that we will focus on those issues most important to you - keeping your trucks and business running.

Membership Fees

Annual membership fees are based on the number of vehicles that you operate.

The following are categorised as one vehicle:

- One prime mover and trailer combination
- One rigid truck.

All membership fees come up for renewal on 1 January of each year.

Can you afford NOT to be a Member?

NatRoad is the national association, representing long distance and regionally based trucking operators. The Board is made up of operators who run their own transport businesses so they know first-hand what it's like to be out there in the industry. NatRoad provides practical and real support to operators.

Being a member of NatRoad means that you are part of a larger group of like minded operators, where you can share their ideas, cares and solutions. You don't have to be alone.
