Can You Afford Not to be a Member?
5 Good Reasons Why You Should Join Natroad
 |
NatRoad is the national association, representing long distance and regionally based trucking operators. The Board is made up of operators who run their own transport businesses so they know first-hand what it's like to be out there in the industry. NatRoad provides practical and real support to operators.
Being a member of NatRoad means that you are part of a larger group of like minded operators, where you can share their ideas, cares and solutions. You don't have to be alone.
NatRoad works closely with other industry associations, through the ATA network, which allows NatRoad to punch above its weight and make a difference for its members.

NatRoad makes sure its members get the latest information on issues that impact upon their businesses.
- A weekly newsletter, the Monday Facts, provides practical advice and information on important matters such as regulation, compliance, taxation, industrial relations and on-road issues.
- NatRoad maintains a telephone hot line, available 7 days a week. If you have any problems with enforcement issues, compliance, employment problems or just want to keep in touch with the latest developments, ring the NatRoad office at anytime.
- The NatRoad website www.natroad.com.au has a wealth of information and advice in the Members' Only area

NatRoad goes into bat for its members - fighting for a 'fair go' for long distance trucking operators. NatRoad keeps close to the State and Territory regulators, to make sure their proposals and policies don't impact unfairly upon trucking operators - to make them accountable to the industry.
Many of the things that the industry enjoy, such as the on-road diesel grant, the depreciation for trucks and trailers and registration charges, are always under threat from governments keen to get more money from the industry. NatRoad and its industry partners monitor developments by governments and make sure that if they're looking at threatening our members' well-being, we let them know in no uncertain terms, that it is a bad idea!

 |
NatRoad has a number of arrangements with suppliers of goods and services to the industry, which helps you get more out of your membership. Through special arrangements NatRoad members can receive discounts on fuel and tyres, and from time to time, NatRoad members' specials.
NatRoad members can also access specialist services for their businesses in the areas of Workplace Relations and Risk Management. Key NatRoad staff members are available to provide these services, to NatRoad members only, at a special 'members only' rate.
