July 29th 2009 - Trucking Industry Inspired by the Quality of Awards Finalists
The finalists for the 2009 Global Transport Insurance NatRoad Awards have been announced today by NatRoad after a high standard of entries were received for the categories of Professional Driver of the Year and Transport Youth of the Year.
“The awards are an important event on the NatRoad calendar to recognise and reward those people who have contributed to the increasingly professional and positive profile of today’s trucking industry,” NatRoad President Rob McIntosh said this morning.
“It was a tough decision selecting the finalists as the quality of nominees was inspiring and a credit to the transport industry and my congratulations go out to the finalists.”
The 2009 Global Transport Insurance NatRoad Awards finalists selected were:
| Professional Driver of the Year Award 2009: Michael Janske, (Noske Group), William Russell (Milthorpe Transport) and John Ryan (ABC Freighters) |

The winners will be announced at the Awards Presentation on Friday 8th August at this year’s NatRoad conference, held in Coffs Harbour.
“This is an exciting time of year for NatRoad and one where the transport industry looks forward to who the winners will be.” Mr McIntosh said.
