July 15th 2009 - NSW Roads Minister Keynote Speaker at NatRoad Conference

NSW Roads Minister Michael Daley will be the keynote speaker at the 2009 NatRoad Annual Conference, NatRoad President Rob McIntosh confirmed today.

“With the significant reform agenda the industry is currently undergoing, we are delighted the Minister will take the opportunity to address our members directly”, Mr McIntosh said.

“This includes the Minister’s welcome announcement yesterday that NSW truck drivers now have a six month reprieve, with the nationwide increase of heavy vehicles registration charges on hold
until 1 January 2010.

This year’s annual conference of the National Road Transport Operators Association (Incorporating Australian Road Train Association) – NatRoad – will be held Thursday 6th - Saturday 8th August, at the Novotel Pacific Bay Resort, Coffs Harbour NSW.
