Truck drivers are now able to access an additional COVID-19 test site at BP Westbound Truckstop at Charlton, west of Toowoomba, set up by Darling Downs Health.
This site has been set up in addition to the site recently set up at the Goodiwindi Showgrounds, and the Driver Reviver Rest Area at Wallangarra, on the Queensland/New South Wales Border.
The new site is open 8.30-4pm, seven days a week, with signage in place for drivers to show where to enter and exit the test site. Drivers will be given a self-collection kit, so they can collect a swam themselves, with the supervision of Darling Downs Health staff. A nurse will be available for assistance if required.
