The Queensland Government has released a letter to freight and logistics operators highlighting the potential COVID-19 transmission risk.

Given the critical functions served by freight and logistic drivers in supporting the ongoing functioning of Australia, the Government understands that it is not practical to requires quarantining when moving in and out of COVID-19 hotspots. However, they are encouraging drivers who are entering Queensland from a COVID-19 hotspots to be tested.
