Motorists are advised of continuing changed traffic conditions on Bylong Valley Way at Sandy Hollow for essential maintenance work on Sandy Hollow Bridge.
Transport for NSW is carrying out the work, which includes structural repairs and installing temporary supports.
Work is being carried out from Monday 12 to Thursday 22 April and from Monday 3 to Thursday 6 May between 6.30am and 4.30pm from Monday to Thursday, weather permitting.
During this work, the bridge will remain open with occasional single lane closures and a temporary 40km/h speed limit in place. Occasional bridge closures of up to 15 minutes may also take place throughout the last week of work and may affect travel times.
To reduce impact to motorists, work requiring short bridge closures to heavy vehicles will be carried out over four nights from Monday 26 April between 6pm and 3.30am and is expected to be complete by 3.30am on Friday 30 April, weather permitting.
Heavy vehicles weighing more than 4.5 tonnes or higher than 4.2 metres may experience short delays of up to 15 minutes.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
