Transport for NSW has advised that the Fitness to Drive medical assessment process has been updated with medical practitioners now being able to submit the medical assessment online. Transport for NSW has developed 12 new online specialist forms and improved the online form for GPs.
Doctors will receive an instant response confirming your assessment has been received, and a copy of the completed form will be stored for future reference.
Older drivers, drivers with a serious or long-term medical condition, or those who hold a class MC licence (road train or B-double multi-combination), will need to have a regular medical review.
