Read time: 2 mins

The Northern Territory Road Transport Association (NT RTA) in collaboration with Western Roads Federation (WRF) are hosting a briefing session on the Industry Response to truck drivers as first responders in remote and regional Australia.

Our industry truck drivers can often be first on scene at accidents.  In some instances, drivers have to render first aid for in some cases 2 or 3 hours before RFDS or other paramedic services arrive.

The NT RTA and WRF have put together a program targeted at this issue.
