This week OzHelp announced a partnership with the Trauma Centre Australia which will see it provide 24/7 phone support to workers and their families in the building and construction and transport and logistics industries.

The partnership will see Trauma Centre Australia provide after hours phone support to both of our free, national support lines, creating a crucial 24/7 service for those who need it most. This includes OzHelp’s 1300 number (1300 694 357), a dedicated support line for all building and construction workers and their families, and its 1800 Health in Gear phone line (1800 464 327), created to support transport and logistics workers and their families.

With building and construction and transport and logistics ranking first and second, respectively, for occupational groups most at risk of suicide and noting the unique challenges facing workers in both industries. OzHelp is proud to be providing tailored support options with professionals who understand the challenges these cohorts are facing.
