In response to the coronavirus outbreak in Sydney’s Northern Beaches area, from 1.00am on Saturday 19 December 2020, Queensland has declared the Northern Beaches Local Government Areas (LGAs) as a COVID 19 hotspot.
The declaration has been made by the Chief Health Officer under the Public Health Direction – Border Restrictions Direction (No. 19) and states that the Queensland border is closed to anyone who has been in a COVID-19 hotspot in the last 14 days or since the hotspot was declared (whichever is shorter). Freight and logistics workers who have been in a “hotspot” in the last 14 days MUST have a valid Queensland Border Declaration Pass (Freight & Logistics) (F Pass) which has been completed by the person named on the pass as it is a personal declaration.
Please be aware that at the time of writing this update the Queensland Government webpage to apply for a F Pass is yet to be updated so that you can apply for a pass.
