You’re being offered the chance to have your say about how rest stops in New South Wales can be improved.

The NSW Liberal and Nationals Government has opened consultation about how it can address gaps in the rest stop network and ensure facilities meet the needs of drivers.

Regional Roads Minister Sam Farraway says it’s important rest stops have facilities that meet driver needs and improve road safety and he seems receptive to fresh ideas.

At Clybucca on the NSW North Coast, the state has installed outdoor fitness equipment for truckies so they can stretch and get exercise in after a long period on the road.

Consultation is open until 28 February and you can have your say through the link in your email newsletter or by contacting NatRoad for the link.
