Wage rates and allowances from 1 July 2026
The Fair Work Commission has raised the minimum and award wages by 4.75% following its 2026 Annual Wage Review decision, increasing the minimum wage to $26.44 per hour or $1,004.90 per week for full-time workers.
What does it mean for you?
- If your employees are covered by a modern award, ensure your pay rates are reviewed and, where relevant, remain compliant from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2026.
- If your employees are covered by an enterprise agreement, check the pay rates do not fall below the new award rates.
