Warren Clark
Chief Executive Officer
Warren Clark has been Chief Executive Officer of the National Road Transport Association since November 2015. In more than eight years at the helm, he has successfully grown and managed the organisation through a period of unprecedented challenges. Warren has more than 20 years of experience in leading and developing business for emerging companies, specialising in the not-for-profit sector. A certified Chartered Accountant, he holds a Bachelor of Financial Management from the University of New England. Prior to joining NatRoad he headed a peak industry council-driven, rural biosecurity operation in a highly regulated sector, and led the offshore arm of a sustainable livestock export business. Warren possesses a strong business and leadership record and a deep understanding of the road transport industry in Australia.
Rhiannon Weir
Chief Operating Officer
Rhiannon has been an integral part of the NatRoad team since joining in 2013 as the Marketing & Communications Officer. Rhiannon holds a Bachelor of Communications and Public Relations. She provides NatRoad expertise across general management and manages administration, HR, accounting and all communication and public affairs with official stakeholders. She also provides administrative support to the NatRoad Board, CEO and the greater team.
Michellé Mabille
Head of Membership
Michellé has been working in the non-for-profit sector for over 20 years and in senior roles across marketing, communications and membership development. Her professional experience ranges from public and private education to pharmaceuticals and now the road freight industry. Michellé holds a Bachelor of Economics, Diploma in Advertising, and Master of Marketing. She believes that associations have an important role to play to improve working environments, education opportunities and support to all those they represent.
Samuel Marks
Head of Policy
Sam joined NatRoad in July 2023 as Policy Director with extensive experience in public policy and government relations, including a strong focus on road freight and transport policy, infrastructure investment and decarbonisation. Sam advocates for road freight operators and develops policy proposals to improve the industry’s safety, viability and sustainability. He has a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Studies. Sam is also a full member of the Planning Institute of Australia.
Angie Dreese
Head of Marketing and Communications
Angie joined NatRoad as Head of Marketing and Communications in June 2024. Angie brings significant business communications experience, having worked for over 20 years in highly regulated industries including the financial and professional services sectors. Angie holds a Bachelor of Science and a Graduate Diploma of Marketing Communications. Overseeing all marketing and communications activity at NatRoad, Angie is dedicated to supporting the industry and helping member businesses thrive through effective communication of NatRoad’s policy work, partnerships and member benefits.
Kim Riggans
Member Services Officer
Kim joined NatRoad in September 2021, with extensive experience in member services across the industry associations, private enterprise and banking sectors. Kim has shaped the Member Services team as a positive first-point experience for Members and she brings innovation, energy and expertise in communication, membership sales and administration management to her role.
Sarah Powderly
Communications Coordinator
Sarah joined NatRoad in March 2022 after her role as a Marketing Assistant and office and sales administrator in the property sector. With a Bachelor of Writing, a passion for writing as well as previous administrative, writing and marketing experience, she has brought her knowledge to the NatRoad communications enthusiastically. Sarah develops new communications channels for NatRoad and ensures that our messages reach members as well as a large audience across the industry.
