Have your say on the road safety myths shaping driver behaviour

Read time: 1 min

With crashes, fatalities and serious injuries continuing to be a significant concern, are there road safety myths and misconceptions that are influencing how people drive, make decisions and respond to risk?

The National Road Safety Partnership Program (NRSPP) wants to understand which beliefs are having the greatest impact—and it is asking drivers to share their views.

NRSPP wants to bust the myths and promote safer driving practices. By sharing your experiences, behaviours, perceptions and challenges, you can help identify the misconceptions NRSPP needs to address. The findings will inform the NRSPP 2027 organisational campaign.

Why take part?

  • Make your voice heard: help the NRSPP better understand what drivers experience on the road.
  • Support safer driving: contribute to NRSPP 2027 organisational campaign designed to bust myths and promote safer practices.
  • Complete it in about 10 minutes: all survey responses are anonymous.
  • Enter the prize draw: participants who choose to enter can go into the draw to win one of four $200 gift cards.

Take the survey and help identify the road safety myths that need to be challenged.
