Fuel Costs are the number-one issue

The results of the Annual NatRoad Member Survey are in and they reflect both the difficult times our industry is having and the validation of the value of NatRoad membership.

Unsurprisingly, Fuel Costs are the number-one concern with 93% of survey respondents, followed by Driver Shortages (45%), COVID-19 Compliance, Tolls (30%), Wages and Related Costs (28%) and AdBlue Supplies (18%).

A reassuring 83% of Members told us you have a COVID-Safe Plan in place. Almost three-quarters used NatRoad email bulletins to keep up with changes in regulations, and 85% of you asked us to keep that service in place.

Of the businesses that put a COVID-Safe Plan in place, 31% used the NatRoad template and 92% of Members who asked a NatRoad adviser for help found the information provided useful.

NatRoad membership brings a wide range of benefits. The Ampol fuel discount was rated the top-ranked Member benefit followed by our Advisory Service, our e-mail Newsletter, the COVID Bulletins and our Website.

Regarding the overall value of being a part of NatRoad, 80% of survey respondents told us they would recommend membership to a friend. This is great news for our organisation but does not give us an excuse to rest on our laurels.

We value your feedback and be assured that individual comments made in the Survey where you sought a response will be followed up.
